Tom's garden at home features a home grown relaxation

The wine country's most romantic floral arrangements are not always made with flowers, says Tom. "We incorporate the best of what each season has to offer, and incorporate something different and unique for the pleasure of our clients." Lemons, apples, grapes or watermelons can appear in the classic arrangements; Pinatas enter the flower scene with power and humor, or toothpicks mark the stubble of a humorous cacti.

The phrase "flowers and gardens," describes Tom's expertise in design, which focusses on garden design and reception site consultation. For him, the point is to enjoy as much "outside" garden as possible, whether indoors or out. "I'm a specialist in reception site design, so when I work with architects I ask the questions that are sensitive to how reception contractors approach the building, and from what entrance. Where is the caterer going to enter and unpack? Where does the florist come to install his creations? It's an extension of garden design when all the work flows are braided together into a consistent presentation."

"As a designer, it's really rewarding when my clients come to consider me as their "new best friend,'" Tom explains. "Flowers can do so much better than we humans to communicate feeling. Sometimes the fewest words and the most delicate flowers can convey the depth of sensitivity so needed for life's turning points. Flowers set the tone, and provide great quality, enhancing relationships and the deeply felt events of life; all without words. This is where we are so often helpless. Thank the heavens for flowers, who speak much more powerfully, and from our hearts."

Deliveries throughout the Wine Country are made by special arrangement, with regular daily service to Petaluma, Rohnert Park and Cotati.
